This course has been developed specifically for our licensed construction contractors who have grandfathered into the Home Inspector License. The first renewal cycle for HI licenses is July 31, 2014 (there is NO CE requirement for this renewal year). This seminar will cover developing and delivering clear, factual written reports, including using templates. We will detail the limited visual examination definition of the home inspector statute including the building systems affected, inspection methods and professional practices related to the services that home inspectors provide to the public. We will also discuss the need to acknowledge those items we are not reporting. Class participants will also learn about the tools necessary to produce a professional report based on credible visual evidence.
