Five Steps to Success

After you enroll in the Contractors Institute, your program will be organized into five steps to guarantee your success:

Step 1 - Quick Start Program

Receive student materials when you enroll, including a Quick Start Audio Tape. This tape details important test facts, test taking tips and strategies necessary to pass your contractor's examination the first time you take it. At this time YOU should also install the book tabs as directed for your particular trade. You're the one who needs to install your tabs, it does you no good if someone else does this for you.

Step 2 - Attend A Business Seminar

Attend any Business seminar. This comprehensive class covers the problem solving techniques necessary for the business & finance portion of your exam. After completing this seminar, it is important to follow-up with completing the highlighting, look-up questions and practice test in the Contractors Business Manual. You may continue to attend these seminars as many times as necessary to pass your business examination.

Step 3 - Attend A Technical Seminar

Attend any Technical seminar targeting the details of the technical portion(s) of your specific exam. You may attend this class as often as necessary to pass the technical portion of your exam. After completing this seminar, it is important to follow-up with completing the look-up questions and practice test in the Contractors Technical Trade Manual.

Step 4 - Take your SIMULATED Practice Test

Offered exclusively by the Contractors Institute, AFTER completing ALL practice questions from your trade manuals AND attending one or more of the weekend seminars, you may access our online computer based testing through out website. These realistic, timed practice exams are based on our course materials and will evaluate your readiness to pass your exam.

Step 5 - Take and Pass Your Examination!

Remember, "Failing to prepare is preparing to fail" -- We will provide you with the necessary tools to successfully complete your exam -- that's our guarantee! If you do not pass your test (or portions of your test) you may continue to attend our weekend seminars. We will NEVER ask that you pay any more tuition!
